Massage Prices in 2026: What the Chains Actually Charge — and Why the Membership Is the Real Price
Standard 60-minute session unless noted, before tax and tip. This category runs on monthly memberships — the single-visit price is mostly there to sell you the plan.

Massage Heights
Franchise — rates vary by location. Half-hour and 90-minute sessions are priced separately.
Massage Green Spa
Franchise; the infrared sauna is the differentiator. Plan mix and pricing vary by location.
Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa
Franchise; each membership covers one 60-min massage OR signature facial per month. An annual commitment may apply.
LaVida Massage
Franchise (LaVida Massage, Skincare & Wellness). Pricing varies by location.
Massage Envy
Every clinic is an independent franchise, so prices swing by region: South ~$60–$85, Northeast ~$70–$100, West Coast ~$85–$110. Unused credits are forfeited after you cancel.
MassageLuXe
Franchise; month-to-month. HydroLuXe is the bundled perk that separates it from the pack.
Elements Massage
Franchise; the member rate applies to unlimited sessions that month. Non-member pricing varies widely by location.
Spavia Day Spa
Franchise day-spa; single 60-min observed around $99–$129 for non-members.
The NOW Massage
Design-forward boutique brand; à la carte prices sit above the franchised membership chains but below the full day spas. Rates vary by boutique.
Woodhouse Spa
Upscale day-spa chain and the ceiling of this category. Prices vary by location and treatment.
The four things worth knowing before you book a massage
- This is a membership business, not a per-visit one. The honest number is the monthly rate — $49.99 at Massage Heights up to $89.95 at Hand & Stone. The $99–$135 "non-member" single price mostly exists to make joining look mandatory.
- Two membership shapes, and the difference matters. Some chains bank a monthly credit (Massage Envy, Hand & Stone, Massage Heights, Massage Green); others just give you a discounted per-visit rate with nothing to lose if you skip a month (Elements, LaVida). If you go irregularly, the per-visit-rate model wastes less.
- Three traps hide in the fine print. Credits that expire or are forfeited when you cancel, a one-time enrollment fee (~$49, often waivable), and a 30-day-notice cancellation window. Ask about all three before you sign.
- Boutique and luxury are a different market. The NOW (~$115 for 50 minutes) and Woodhouse ($120–$240 à la carte) price above the franchised chains and mostly skip the monthly-credit game — you pay for the room, not the plan.
