Car Wash Membership Prices in 2026: Ten Chains, Unlimited Plans Compared
Monthly unlimited plans, one vehicle. Single washes run $8–$25 — memberships break even around 2–3 washes a month. Note: most chains here are express (exterior-only); Autobell, Crew and Delta Sonic sell full-service tiers that include interior cleaning, so their higher prices aren't apples-to-apples.

Quick Quack Car Wash
Publishes plan pricing more openly than most — refreshing in this category.
Mister Car Wash
Largest chain in the country; your zip code decides your price.
Zips Car Wash
Take 5 Car Wash
Tommy's Express
One of the fastest-growing express chains; conveyor entry with app license-plate scanning. Regional pricing varies only modestly.
GO Car Wash
Multi-region roll-up brand assembled from local chains; check your site's exact tiers.
Whistle Express
Southeast-heavy express chain — confirm your local price, which swings more than most between sites.
Autobell Car Wash (full-service)
Southeast full-service chain. Once interior service is in the plan, it isn't apples-to-apples against express-exterior rivals.
Crew Carwash (full-service)
Higher base than the express average, but consistently top-rated on wash quality and service.
Delta Sonic (full-service)
Northeast (NY-centric) full-service operator with gas, detailing and food at many sites. Priciest base of the group.
The membership math nobody does
- Break-even is 2–3 washes a month. Monthly price ÷ your single-wash price. Below that, you're subsidizing everyone else's memberships.
- Express and full-service aren't the same product. A $20 express plan cleans the outside; a $45 full-service plan (Autobell, Crew, Delta Sonic) vacuums and wipes the inside too. Don't compare the sticker prices without comparing what's in the bay.
- The promo rate is not the price. First-month deals auto-renew at full rate — calendar the renewal date the day you sign up.
- Cancellation is where they make money. In-app cancellation exists but win-back offers appear the moment you try. Use that as a negotiation button.
- Top tiers sell ceramic/wax coatings weekly. Fine for gloss lovers; the $16/month gap between base and top tier buys a lot of nothing if you just want a clean car.
